Eh, that was the way X did things. All of those minigames were so frustrating and I had finished all of them except for the butterfly. I didn't try as hard as I did on the ones, I had just used up all of my patience at that point. Tidus minigame was the one that would really piss me off...Lulu too.

I never could do jump roping either, and for some reason I failed at getting Hippaul up to level 80.

I think that's what happens to most people. Most leave Khimari's sigil last because it's the least popular character.

Hardest mini game is dodging lightning, I think i was one or two off at one point. Never tried again.

did you try taking breaks? It makes it a lot easier

Impressing nobles is easy on the psp. Home button acts as a pause button =)

I have ADD i swear, Even taking breaks i was over it in 20 seconds.

then you shoukld definetely stay away from trying to do 1000 jumpropes in FFIX

There is a special spot in the lower thunder plains that always has a lightning strike so I just abused that. Run around in a circle 210 times or however long it takes. Look into it if you haven't been able to win that minigame.

100 nobles on PS2 was hard, alteast for me. I've barely progressed on the E2 challenge, had a perfect game vs sealion and stole mythril dagger on the first turn, but then had two encounters on the way out of ice cavern =( had to reset...again...But I won't give up, not yet.

I'd just go to a spot where 2 consecutive lightning bolts would always strike. Dodged them and went back to the spot, wiated for them again, dodged them, etc. Then I'd take a break after 50 dodges. Would do this 2 times a day so it didn't get too tedius, and by the 3rd or 4th day I already beat it. Imo the key is not to stress too much about it and just try it one or twice a day while you do other stuff in FFX.

Btw, are you doing a perfect game or just a Excalibur II run?
