FFX-2 wasn't to bad, had good aspects to it but they tried to make it to flashy and upbeat.

it's ok... entertaining, but that's it. Still prefer it to any of the FFs I've played that came out after Square and Enix merged

I don't know why i don't hate FFX. I should because what you said about it being linear is true. But i genuinely liked the characters, The story was fun, the monster hunt was great, Extending the game past 9999 with the ultimate weapons was genius and the Dark Aeons being tied to it added a complete aspect that no other FF game had.

13 had none of that. Also, Hope and Snow. Two worst characters of any JRPG, even worse than Edge and Limille in Star Ocean.
