your ps1 games can run on the emulator but it will be faster if you have an iso of the disc on your computer

To play psx games use the program called psx.

aka. psxfin like some earlier poster said
A lot simplier and doesn't need a shitload of configuration like ePSXe

Is it that much better than ePSXe? The past day has been a nightmare configuring Legend of Dragoon to not play like garbage.

just dl the emu, the bios file, configure your memory card and you are set. At least that's worked for me with every game I've tried

I might give it a shot. Will my save state files from ePSXe be able to be copy/pasted into the PSX folder and function properly?

I'm playing with it. Hopefully I can transfer saves, it appears that Legend of Dragoon is one of the only games giving ePSXe major problems.

Edit: I've gotten nowhere with it. Gonna tough it out and beat the game on ePSXe. PSX looks like it runs a hell of a lot smoother though, so I'll probably beat Final Fantasy VII or Vagrant Story on the PSX and test it out.
