Also I agree with you Andross1 By playing ff7 My reading ability sky rocketed, I become more fluent to reading, and my imagination improved also.

When I first got my SNES console I bought FF3 (FFVI for ps1) along with my system. Eversince I got hooked on.

Brother bought a psx and Xenogears was the first game he bought, he loved it so much he sought into other square-soft titles...and wala (FF7) was introduced. Ever since then, no other game, no other series has been matched with Final Fantasy series for me (maybe diablo)

Up until disc 2 that was a great game.

Bought a ps1 before i even had a tv that it would work on...my tv only had the 2 screws that you had to tighten over two metal connectors, which would turn into a coax cable input, then i would have had to have an adapter..

so after i figured out that it wasn't gonna work, i bought a small black and white tv, that had a clear shell and the speakers didn't work so i had to use externals..then i got my hands on my first copy of final fantasy 7 from a friend in a trade, which i never made off the first disc(made it to the beach town, cant recall what it's name is at the moment). Then i sold that copy of ff7 along with my ps1, i always played the family's n64 so i didn't want a ps1. When the ps2 came out, my brother, stepbrother, and i put all three of our big birthday gifts together for the year to get one. We didn't have much for games, just what we got from friends, until i got final fantasy x for christmas. I played the living shit out of that game, did not turn it off until i got to thunder plains, which was roughly 15 hours for me at the time. Our ps2 broke, and that was before i knew how to repair them. we traded it into gamestop for a brand new gamecube. each of us picked a game, my choice was crystal chronicles, and they chose mario sunshine...i played crystal chronicles as much as i could..it was at the time my favorite game in that generation. to this day i absolutely love the game..i have a copy just no gamecube or wii to play it on =(. I then bought a slim ps2 again later with my first paycheck. i got it for 75$ with 5 memory cards, 5 controllers, and final fantasy x, and x-2. I then played all the way through final fantasy x...but never got the chance to play x-2 very much..though i very much liked the battle system from the little bit i remember...I then got final fantasy 12 at school, i do not remember what i traded for it..but it was a great deal. I enjoyed the battle system a bit in that game, i was glad they were trying new things..but i hated the sky pirates..

thats how i got into them...

ffx-2(1 copy at the moment..my friend gave me his ps2 because i donated him a fair sum of forum gold, back when i would make 1k or so a day, and he said it had a crappy looking game in it..that was x-2.)
also i have a ps1 disc i cannot remember which game it is..but its one of the final fantasy chronicles discs

Disc 2 was nothing but a 4 hour cut scene. Try playing it again some time.

lol after disc 1 was over i thought to myself dam im not even half way through the game. disc 2 proved to be nothing more then a couple small quests. and disc 3 being the end lmao. that was a great game. personally one of the best ones.
