I agree it is underrated. Even though it ranks low on my list, I don't think it's a bad game. I just didn't care for the blatant fan service.

This. The only FF game I've played and I found bad was FF12... FFX-2 wasn't good enough to make me want to do a 100% run (which I've done for most FF games), but it was entertaining
