I remember playing 4 and theres a mountain you have to decend, all the random encounter monsters cast Death constantly.

Funnily enough come the ps1 version and they have been mysteriously removed and the difficulty levels reduced..

Nope, Dragged them out last summer for nostalgias sake.

Pick up a Nes/ Snes off eeebay and give it a go. Snes has the best JRPGs of any system (including ps1) and they are actually difficult. No babys first RPG like 10 and 13.
