I got past the timber station or w/e.

It's not that interesting.

there are some good moments early in the game but it really gets good towards the end of disc 1... but I suppose it's a matter of taste... also I enjoyed my second playthrough more than first one

I've always enjoyed Final Fantasy VIII more than any other game in the series. Character development, the card game, the GF system (I'll admit I don't have the thumbs of an alien and would much rather use a turbo controller for boosting), the whole story. The plot unfolds in such a unique way, disc after disc after disc. Gardens? SEED? If you're thinking this game's gay, go ahead and hit up some more Team Deathmatch on Black Ops.

I like ff8 I liked it alot, one its long two what Andross said GF, card system. plus the music was nice to. tho squall was a little to stubborn and not enough emotion with him as protagonist, not much story was told from him, still nothing to doubt tho. best part is when you get the ragnorak and you start getting all the ultimate weapons, and getting the cards ect. ^_^

I really hated the Laguna flashbacks.

He never interested me as a character, nor did his story.

Very well put, the story does unfold very well, maybe the best out of any FF game. It just doesn't seem like there are as many stereotypical lulls in the story like there are in a lot of other JRPGs. And I agree on the character development part. People always hate on Squall for being for being "emo" or whatever, but he is probably the deepest and most explored character in any FF. By the end of the game, he is such a different person than how he started because of everything he went through, no other FF had anything close to that level of character development.

And about the bold part: Or keep playing FF7 over and over and over lol.

I'm enjoying 9 a hell of a lot more than I thought I would.

It's a great game, it had that classic touch from the old games combined but with a modern touch.... it's one of the best in the series imo

And btw nice sig, Audrey Hepburn <3
