I beat Emerald and Ruby as well... Just plain mass attack :

WSummon materia and KOTR on 1 and the others has the mime materia to imitate the first one. If you time all this well, each KOTR cast 130,000 dmg and in 2 rounds, it was 16 x 130000, more than enough to kill Emerald and Ruby

The hardest part is to gather all the materias, breed the Chocobos and get the KOTR materia. FF7 is the only one i succeded to max everything and gather everything

FFX may looks hard but if you understand how weapons work, you can take advantage of some things to gather the AP to make you powerful with the grid. With that, the last boss was a pushover However, if you take the optional part where you fight the monsters (forgot what it is called but it was some challenge to get something). The last boss has 10,000,000 HP and some very powerful attacks (almost all is a 1-hit killer) which make it very hard without having a good strategy and a good combination of items.

Ruby was the hardest for me.

Emerald was pretty easy with the underwater materia.

Although being my favorite, VII was probably the easiest in the series for me. VIII was easy as hell too.

IX was hard at times, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I don't know the whole series (stopped playing at IX though) was pretty easy for me. I may try out X, but after that it seemed to get too... squarenix... I miss squaresoft.

i think any thing after X sucks my first ps2 game was final fantasy 8 took me 3 months to beat it with school n chores n all
then a week after i beat it was christmas and my mom bought me final fantasy VII after i beat that i went ona vidio game rampage all together i swear i beat ff8 58 + times in 3 weeks and FF7 at least 140 times i created a chat room when msn was free and helped noobs to the game

Does this include the other FF games such as the FF Quest and such?

I think Tactics is pretty difficult at times, but FF7 definitely takes the cake.

I think ff6 is hardest, and that's out of 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 / 10-2.

9 was the easiest. Completed the storyline without looking on the internet, found and completed hades without looking on the net, completed ozma after looking on the net.

Ruby is difficult but if u get lucky summoning hades has a possibilitie to freeze him for like 5 rounds which u can just cast KOTR and then mimic with your otehr chars to destroy Ruby.

i remember beating emerald weapon without using kotr, it was quite fun and long. but hardest final fantasy even though some might not count it was final fantasy tactics for ps1, each battle lasted like 30 min lol

7 was EASY shit at the end. I was testing out gravity on the sephiroths (which obviously doesn't work), and I ended up beating them. Checking my memory card, I had Cid/Yuffie/Cloud and they were in the 70's for the three person party. Didn't check anyone else

9 was pretty hard at times, but fun. 8 was so boring, I never finished it.

Haven't played anything after squaresoft became square-enix... Don't plan on it either.

I guess you all never played the original Final Fantasy for the nintendo....now THAT was a hard ass game. Took me months to beat that POS. you started off with 50 life on each 4 characters....no magic...no items...no gold...no storyline...in the middle of NOWHERE, and the monsters do 10-15 damage each hit (groups of 2-3 monsters). And that's the way the game was pretty much.

Now if you've played the new version of it on the Gameboy, it's alot different. they actually changed items to more fit stats and they also added in cinemas and more dialogue so you can understand wtf is going on.

Hardest FF Game IMO


My Alltime favorite has to be FF 10 though, I made nemesis my bitch.

Fuck Break HP limit, tidus/wakkas weapons work on how much % of your life you have, if you use curaga when you got 4999 life then you do max damage...if your Hp limit is above 9999 then you do like 40% damage...Always have tidus/wakka/lulu with full overdrive bars and use wakkas last overdrive to do like 1,100,000 every overdrive...it's sexy
