I'm not into the storyline for FF12 yet... I hope it gets better. I'm 40+ hours into the game and I'm still.... what's exactly going on? Ok.. a war... etc. In the other hand I love the battle system at first i thought it was lame but after a while you get the hang of it and how it works I think its actually pretty good battle system once you understand how the gambits work and everything. Oh, and you can run from monsters a bit. If a monster selects to hit you start running away and your party members wwill more than likely kill it before it gets clsoe to you.

yea, running does actually help a little bit. If you select an enemy and wait for your bar to fill up before they see you then run in attack them and run away your bar will probably fill up and you can hit them again. So you're getting 2 hits for one, not to mention that your allies hit it while you're distracting it. It's also useful during boss fights if you have ranged allies. Just ran around and make the boss chase you getting fewer hits than he would normally.

any FF game is great if your a FF nut and if your not a FF nut then yea people will think the game is going down hill but as of me im a FF nuit and always have been so ill love any FF period idc wta others says ya know i got every FF game ever made allt he collectors EVERYTHING about em ig ot some people can same im a geek nerd and no life or w/e hell idc i been playing FF since it first came out so in my oppoion all FF's are great

the gambits are cool, running is still gay, the game still sucks

i take back what i said about the story line i thought it was going somewhere completely different. the story line is weak. in ff7 u actually cared if aeris died and who would save the world. in ff8 squal was an interesting person to watch and what a twist eh?. 9 the tail LOL the story line was solid along with the characters and their flaws

12 the battle system.. is 4/10 and the story line i'm sorry but just dropped. i'm on the part after u learn the the dawn shard is "empty" and the story line is absolutely not pulling me in.

as i said ff7 you cared if you saved the damn world, ff12 i could care less.

Someone seems a little too demanding. Final Fantasy shouldn't be your life, and it's not something that should be analyzed to death.

Of course every final fantasy isn't going to be as good as 7, but if they all were 7 wouldn't be special. You're living in a very small close minded box. Go outside and play for a few hours, then come in and play some FF... maybe that'll make it more fun/interesting to you.

ff13 is gonna be great for ps3

I hope so, I'll probably just end up emulating it and playing it on the comp though...because i don't have $700 lying around to spent on a system.
