All my chars hits with 99.999
And i have to say that i still prefer my aeons.
They manage to create a considerable blow contra normal attacks!
See this is what I'm talking about, it makes absolutley no sense, "Considerable blow" in that sentence means they do "max damage" and nothing else. 1/3 the ammount of damage you can do with a party of 3 maxed out players is nothing.
I got an idea, take an aeon maxed out against 3 maxed out players and only give them the attack command...who wins? The 3 maxed out chars...he may take one out if he gets first turn...but he's gone after.
Not to mention that most of the bosses you encounter in the game can just banish your aeons away, you get to use them for like one single round, possibly two and then their gone, instant death. Not too often to bosses cast Death x3 on your normal characters. o_O
At least, I found use for Aeons.
- They are nice "meat walls" to take damage for you ^^
- If you counter example some sick monster, summon Anima, do Oblivion, does hell alot of damage (depends of enemy ofc), then monster attacks you and (maybe) kills Anima. You have lost nothing, not useful items, not HP from characters, just one summon and enemy has lost hell alot of HP.
Well, itīs about opinions anyway, but I used Aeons in game even when my chars were almost perf statted.
And about the lvl system with Don Tonberry.. I got 99 lvls / each battle. But I used Triple Ap instead of Double ^^
