They need to get off the Amazing graphics on their games if they can't fit a good story and interactive world into them.

I don't care if it looks as bad as FF7 if the game is as good as it.

FF13 was one of the worst, pointless, narrow, boring games i have ever played. If i wanted to see more cinematics then gameplay i would watch a movie.

Bad players like FF13 because it was a fucking easy game with no puzzles, challenge or replayability. Was basically a Korean MMO grindfest. Battle after battle end game to level to do pointless missions. Almost like SE was like "oh, we better have some end game content soon"

Even X-2 Shits on it with fury. Worst JRPG evar.

I mean honestly.. what good games did Square make besides the early FF games?  I honestly can't think of any off the top of my head.  Okay I'm being a little harsh, there were a few others.  Their only option was to expand and buy up other companies, I think they knew FF was going to dry up, just as all franchises eventually do.

But anyways, trailers should never be trusted, especially for video games.  Trailers never show anything significant.


chronotrigger/cross :3 i havnt like any ff game tho since they became squareenix =S (unbias'd, i had 100% no problem with them becoming squareenix) im still gonna try this game tho.

Only one I kinda liked was 12, only games I didn't like as squaresoft was ff8/ff10/x-2

i loved 1-9 :3 favorites being 7/4/1/8

i started both X and X-2 but didnt make it far in them at all. in X i couldnt stand the voice acting, and X-2 just bored me before i could get anywhere.(prob because i never finished X)

I LOVE FF 1-9. When they took away "free flying" in the FF world it started to go downhill imo...

I really like FF X and FF XII though but I felt they were lacking because you couldnt just pick up your airship and fly ANYWHERE you wanted.

I have yet to finish FF XIII :( It wasnt TERRIBLE but it wasnt that great either.

On a side note though....Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross > all.

E - Oh yea on topic, Im going to put faith in SE ONE last time with versus XIII....if they fuck it up I'll lose all faith.
