did you register the dll after you downloaded it?

I don't have windows 7, but I'm assuming its still set up like previous versions:

Copy zlib1.dll into you windows/system32 folder, then open "Run" and type regsvr32 zlib1.dll

i tried dling it and it keeps saying zlib1.dll file missing...
can u send me a link to where u dled epsxe + zlib1.dll?>

Same thing happened to me, they just forgot to include that dll in their latest release. Just google zlib1.dll and copy that into the ePSXe directory and it'll work fine.

Here's one google result: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?zlib1
Just click the link in the "Free Download" box, click the large "Download zlib1.dll" link at the top of the pop-up window, and unzip the file into your ePSXe directory. Should take all of 30 seconds.

By the way, you DON'T have to put it in your system32 folder, just put it straight into the ePSXe folder and you're done.
