yea well i have 8 GB DDR3 1600 RAM it was expensive as fuck..

Honestly I dont think RAM would be your issue.. I scored pretty low on the benchmark because the Nvidia 9000 series is like a mediocre line of GPU. I definitely am considering moving up to a Radeon 5850, those things are both insane in performance and in price :-P

But I don't want to invest in something like that if my PC already runs it fine on low settings.. Cuz thats like an extra $300.. That's why i want to try the beta out haha.

By the way the other kid I asked had a EU account, I'm looking for an NA account to just play for 1 night!!! I"D BE VERY APPRECIATIVE!!

windows 7 ult 64 bit
8 gb ram
quad core i7 2.66 GHZ processor
nvidia geforce 9600 GT verto GPU
2 TB raid 10 storage configuration

Rofl you will be able to run it surely on high-very high..

My specs are:

windows xp SP3 32
2 gb ram ddr2
dual core 2.40 ghz
nvidia geforce 9500 GT (boosted though, so more performance than the normal 9500 GT)

And I still got an invite, and I think they send out invite based on specs and shits like that.

high-very high? You are on crack. His computer isnt that good, his processor is good, but the most important thing is GPU, which is mediocreish. Ram makes very little difference.

Benchmark is kinda off, id say you could prolly add about 50% to your score if u scored around 2k. You are on the money, ur GPU is mediocre and FF14 is pretty gpu intensive. But I dont think youll need to upgrade unless you really want to spend the money. Id say just keep what u got if u plan on playing FF14 for any decent amount of time. Why do you have so much ram though? Pretty useless.

well with more RAM i'll be able to run multiple applications/programs at once, and i also won't have to worry about my virtual memory getting low like my old computer had issues with when i played other games.

I figured it'd be a good investment because I plan on constantly upgrading my badboy computer from here on in. If i EVER weree to need to upgrade to 16 gb ram i could easily just get 2 more of the same 4G sticks . but i doubt i will

I thought it was useful, my computer runs fast as hell as far as regular use. And i can have soo many applications/processes running simultaneously

by the way did you see my message in the other thread??? i noticed you weren't gonna use your beta account till next week:-P

Hopefully with mine I can run it on Med-High to High. Only 4gb of ram but that should be more then sufficient.

XPS 420, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E8500(3.16GHz 1333FSB) w/ 6MB cache
4GB DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz
Nvidia GeForce 9800GT

Again, ram has more to do with multitasking abilities. 4GB ram is way more then enough for any games. Unless for whatever reason you like to be running MSN/Music/Videos/and games all at once. I never do this so it seems very odd to me, even if i wanted to run a few smaller programs 4gb ram is a ton.

Brain, your set up will be fine. Fast dual processor, mid-high gpu.

@praize. no im not giving anyone my info.
