It sux though that it will cost 3€ for each extra character you want. Aside from your first one ofc.

no way is that true?  if it is ima drop some turds all over them

You both never played FFXI haven't you? It's not a game where you make more than 1 characters unless you need a mule, and even then they provide you with one (Unlike FFXI).

It cost extra for other characters on FFXI.  But, it really doesn't matter, this is the type of game where you only need one character anyways.  That's what I loved about XI, you felt dedicated to a character, rather than an account.

Pretty much this.

FFXI was the only MMO that was actually fun to grind. Because of the team aspect. Partying was social, rather than just a snore fest by yourself.

^ Well, yes and no. FF XI has endgame just like every other MMO, but nobody really calls it "raiding"(at least I never heard it all those years of playing). But yeah, you'll be able to do large missions, quests, end game areas and get gear from it. That's really the only similarity to WoW though, other than that the game is nothing like it. Combat is slower paced, with a bigger emphasis on each individual role and strategy. A game like FF XI is really easy to tell good players from the bad, unlike WoW where a few good people can carry a party.
