yea, it seems pretty simple so far tho :\
it's like, you have to go here, can't go here, keep going this way, don't explore cuz it's only one path...
Wish that aspect was more like ff12, or X, they were both quite free roaming games.

i dont mind the linearity... the people who seem to not like it are the ones who rave about games like fallout and oblivion

i mean dont get me wrong, they were playable but im not a huge fan of sandbox games

yeah, oblivion was too free for me...
I like the way ffx and ffxii were set up cuz yes they were linear, but you could also do/go where u want if u want.
What I have played through so far, I really havejust gone quest to quest with fighting in the middle, still love it tho

But I also liked in the review how they complained about no new game + when the best ff's haven't had that either
(from what I can remember, only X-2 has had new game + since like ffiv, and maybe 9 but I hated 9 so I didn't even try a new game)

actually, none of the numbered entries have had a NG+ as far as i can recall

yeah...X-2 did for sure, IV did on the nintendo DS, idk about the original, and I still hate IX.


/e besides...Vii Viii nor X had new game plus...and they were obv the best

p.s. I'm startin to thnk 12 might have? Dunno why, just thinkin it did now, but it wasn't one of the elite ff games so it don't matter, it's just a good game.

well i bought 13 last night and am about half way through chapter 4.. likin it so far just not sure what to lvl up as far as crystal points go

i dont consider x-2 to be one of the primary games
