should've kept the thread based solely on the core titles (i.e 1-13, minus 11).

otherwise, dirge of cerberus was pretty gay. never played crystal chronicles. ffx-2 was verrrrrrrrrrrry mehhhhh (i agree with jeesuss on the gameplay aspect). FFII (US, if that makes a difference) is easily my least favorite.

i don't really think x-2 and 12 were that bad, just compared to the other great ones like 7 and 8, etc.. they just couldn't match it..but if it would've only been x-2 and 12 people wouldn't really been complaining lol

X2 was horrible. A bunch of Jpop singing every two minutes, a dress-up game, and only three characters, one which is a butch. And Tidus has an evil twin, oh noes!

I agree with what a few people were saying about x-2....gameplay was solid and could have been the best but "dress sphere" was lacking....

I think 12 is HIGHLY underrated. I think they changed too much too fast and a lot of fans werent ready or just didnt want so much change.

12 isn't bad at all. I'm playing through it again right now. It's just weak for the series, but if you don't compare it to the rest of the series it's still a great game better than most RPGs out there.

Just curious, but what do you find weak about it? I do agree with you that its nothing like previous FF games, didnt have a love interest, and the plot was more political than "save the world" haha.

Pretty much what you said. It just wasn't "OH MY GOD I HAVE TO PLAY THE NEXT PART" and then you stay up all night because it's so fun. It was fun, but not pull-an-all-nighter fun.
