Actually no. If they dont do it right I'd rather not even play it and keep my memories of how great the original was.

Dragon Quest VIII. I dropped an EASY 106 hours my first play through lol. Its that good.
Parasite Eve. Its been a LONG time since I played it but I've played through MULTIPLE times. I loved it.
Dark Cloud 2. I only played through once but I really liked it. I love both of the Dark Cloud games but the second one FAR outshined the first.
Grandia 2. Originally for the Dreamcast but the PS2 got a port...its a bit buggy I'll admit but the battle system and story was GREAT.

Those are the best ones off the top of my head. I didnt list FF games or Zelda games because they are all great lol.
