vouche too i never played ff7 , only 8, ffx and ffx-2 (x-2 sucked) but i heard ff7 has a really gr8 storyline.

if u havent played final fantasy 7 i recommend u buy it, great game! 10/10

vouch, the storyline kicks any games storylines ASS. It's Godleh. I loved the materia layout, made it very unique, and I strived for the Master Summon for a while.

i got ff's from 2-11 and id say ff7 is by far best, story line, materia layout and characters it owns all other final fantasy games

well at the time of the original release ff7 owned the other graphically, the storyline was amazing, the depth of the game was all the more addictive. There is a new version of ff7 coming out tommorow locally around where i live so it should be readily available to eveyone. Only thing is i played a demo and it nothing like the original it is like a follow up to the original ff7. The new one is called
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. It takes on a more modern approach guns and such the graphics are lacking for todays standards at best. You can see videos of the game at the bottom. I think the main reason why FF7 is so sought after is that it takes on a more mythical stand point, the name says it Fantasy. I have been looking for a copy of the original ff7 and the closest one i have to order off the net is like 5 states away but should be here by thursday at the latest. The places that sell used games are pricing the original FF7 at 35 dollars used and 55 new unwrapped! Thats more than it's original cost, not to mention the original came with the strategy guide included. So figure it out the new FF7 is 50 bucks while the original FF7 unopened is 55! Crazy. I was told that Advent Children caused the surge in new fans of the game! Here's the link i mentioned above, i think i will stick to the classic but i will at least rent the new one and give it a try!

From what I know Dirge of Cerberus is a 1st/3rd person shooter that strictly follows Vincent Valentine. It takjes place in the time between FF7 and FF7 AC. There trailers for it on the Advent Children DVD but I haven't heard of anytime it'll be out. I also haven't been to a game store in forever too. It looked cool but I believe theyre using the FF7 name to try to make more money off a mediocre game.

yeah ff7 totally kicks ass, i also got into ff9, it was pretty tight with the updated card game.
