in my opinion they both have flaws but still are both top notch final fantasies

7 - the end bosses are WAYYYYYY to easy if you pimp rpg's out like me
8 - 1000 exp. a level for every level is sort of dumb imo, should increase exp. needed every level.

7 - materia = great idea
8 - card game and refine = sweet

7 - cant think of a different flaw besides bosses are usually weak ass punks. (hardest boss IMO is carry armor, the boss before the sub)
8 - the draw system is time consuming

so 7 has basically 1 flaw while 8 has 2.

IMO 7 wins. RAWR but 8 is longer and i love long rpgs!!!

I REALLY CANT DECIDE, AND NEVER HAVE BEEN ABLE TO!!!!

lol they have a lot more flaws then 2, but i voted 8.
the materia system was okay but i hated having to level it up.
I liked them both a lot but i went with 8 because i liked the GF system, magic system, and monsters more.

i know they have more than 2 flaws each, i was just stating my major ones.

i'm going with 7 because of the concept of the choco memory card or pocketpal ps wit chocbo addon to 8, i never did that. it was gay that u needed to buy a seperate thing to do it.

8 is my favorite, its the game that got me hooked into the series and for that reason it will always be my favorite, plus I loved the card game. Have some cards at home actully.

I still remember I got a demo of 8 from pizza hut one night, and thats what started it all.

I forgot to add that 10 was good but - 8,9,11,12 were all disappointing I think.
