vaan was the main character

i say there was 2 main chars 2 different stories

1 revolving around vaan and his backround

2 revolving around ashe and her backround

2 different stories 2 endings of 2 stories in the same game

coming to one momentous climactic ending

Obviously they intended Vaan be seen as the main character of the game. He's the one you control when roaming towns and such. However they are all really equally main characters in my opinion and that's a good thing. You get several different stories all wrapped up into one. Basch(My fav) and his brother, Balthier, Fran, Ashe, Vaan, Penelo... They are all main characters and all have great stories(Cept maybe for Penelo :-P)..
