why is the reading better???? what is the difference on the monitor to tv. and i have a 4 feet by 3 feet wide screen tv would that work?

I play on a 22 inch screen, and my TV is about the same size. Due to the distance I sit away from my monitor, compared to how far I sit away from my TV, the type is larger and easier to read on the PC than on the TV for me.

Just type "pSX" or "ePSXe" in Google. The website(s) you're after will be in the first few options (very first option for ePSXe).

pSX is better if you don't have a good graphics card and/or can't be bothered messing around with lots of different settings.
ePSXe can be better if you have a good graphics card and mess around with the settings a bit (but not always, I find that it's worse than pSX no matter what I do).

Hmm, just one thing. You need the PS1 BIOS (SCPH1001.BIN). If I remember correctly, it's not included with the emulators because it's illegal to use it without owning a PS1 (I do own one though ). I can't remember where I got it, but I seem to remember finding it with a simple search in Google for "SCPH1001.BIN".

thx i own a ps1 but do not feel like finding ff7 seeing how no gamestop in miami sell ps1 games for good reason XD

You could always just "acquire" the PC version of FFVII; no need for an emulator, and runs more smoothly.

XD and where could I just "acquire" this version?? You mean get a torrent for it?

GetDistracted used to have a rapidshare link to it, but not sure where it is now. I bought a copy of it back in high school, but that's a four-disc one, whereas the link from GD was just one link.
