Cecil Clearly. He's the man, and saved his chick. He knows how to kill and how to be badass. Close second, CID - for not taking any BS and his theme music rocked. Every other character POST ff7 BLOWS - anyone who picks /squal/tidus is a huge fag.

Sabin, Locke, Terra, Cecil, Kain, Rosa, Rydia, Tellah, Celes, Cyan, GAU, Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Aeris, RedViii, CID -- These don't suck and if you pick any from here, your not a fag.

characters post ff7 were never my favorite, but theyre not bad, (vivi from ff9 is badass) lulz...and most of the chars from ff8 are pretty cool, except i reaaally didnt like quistis......at all....

I liked Selphie; her happy-go-lucky attitude and pageboy flip was pretty sexy, not to mention her white undies. Zell's pretty cool too; I mean, he's fuckin' bad-ass, and he's not afraid to show he loves his mom.

Never played 9, so I can't really be a judge of the characters there. In 10, though, the only characters I really liked were Lulu and Auron, although my liking of Lulu might be because I like just about any pretty woman who's not afraid to wear some S&M gear.

you should really play 9.
