Ok guys this is sooooo easy, u dont need special gear or nothing, in the northwest corner of the map be4 you zone north, there is a part of the map that looks like a hook, now all u need to do is just stand there, and listen for the sounds, when u hear the crash then a bolt its, dodge it 200xtimes and boom!! all done, the reason u do it this way is 2 reason, one u can do on ur first time tho thunder plains, and second, the bolt hit it knocks u down the map, so be placed near this hook u have nothing to worry about except count to 200, if u get hit u dont move, just have to restart the counting, WARNING: if u go inside the hut all bets are off and the counter is reset, 2 u get into a fight and the counter is reset.

Its a sure thing guys try it and enjoy.

you dont have to get this part of lulus weapon on your first visit to thunder plains cuz you still need the mirror and the other part of the weapon >.>

It's the Onion Knight(homage to one of the earlier FF's). You need the Jupiter crest, and the Jupiter sigil.
The cloudy mirror to be upgraded to the uhhh.... whactmacallit. But I think you got the idea from reading your post...

Weapon Location: In a sealed chest in the pool at Baaj Temple.
Venus Crest location: In a treasure chest that appears during your second visit to the Farplane.
Venus Sigil location: Dodge the lightning at Thunder Plains 200 and open the chest
