Yeah, you do that during cutscenes to skip them. I think it can possibly damage your PS1 though.

Btw, there is one other way to get Excalibur 2. If your timer goes over 99:99:99, it will reset, and you will be able to get EX2 then. I have a file with ~95 hours, but I could never be bothered playing that little bit longer to try and get it.



Yeah, I think he's talking about Hades. If I remember, he's behind a rock, but he's completely hidden and you can't see him. You have to fight him right? It's been so long since I got that far in the game (something like 5 years >_<).

I started a new file during the summer there and just got past Terra. I should probably complete the Crystal World and refresh my memory of the end of the game.

and yes it is hades xD i think he got around 40k hp or something like that
