Graphics do not make or break a game. If you cant see past that I actually feel sorry for all the wonderful games you're gonna miss out on because the graphics are "top notch".

FFVIII wasn't that great in my opinion, i never got to far into it, the story just failed to grab my attention.

and i too finished FFVII without dying and the such

but i finshed the game with lvl 90 people, mainly because i went thru and did everything in the game,

kileld al lthe weapons, got everyones best weapons, unlocked the secret characters (yuffie and vincent)

and had most of my materia mastered

so needless to say i kicked ass, and you cant loose the battle against Safer Sephiroth (the 2nd alst sephiroth, the one b4 cloud and his ultimate showodwn)
at leastr as far as i know you cant, cause my characters always automatically came back to life =S and i didnt have auto life (if there was that in the 7th)

one of the best games in the series.

I hope you didn't die on Sephiroth at level 90... I was 60 and did it on the first time

By the way, I have like 10 hours played into FFVIII right now...

What I like is the way you can customize all your characters and your GFs.

At the opposite of you... the story really hooked me up lol even though I don't know all the characters pretty well...

I have Ifrit, Quezacotl, Shiva and Brothers Gf (looks like I already missed one there is a blank line in my list).... I'm in the Galbadia President's City looking the kill the Sorceress.
I still don't know if Seifer is dead and... I find it attractive

By the way, can someone explain me how to upgrade weapons... I don't understand

You missed Siren as a draw off of Elvoret.

And it sounds like you missed or haven't used the magic lamp yet which = Diablos

Thats just sad. Graphics whore....

But hey if you want to play a pretty piece of shit more power to you....As nice as graphics can be...it cant make up for gameplay.

i really think that final fantasy 8 was the easiest one, i hadall the cards, all weapons for all characters, and all skills for gf's along with all gfs but other than that, a great game with great characters and an awesome story

cmoguys the last bosses in all final fansasy games are easy u need to after the optional bosses such as ruby emerald wepon on ff7


an ultima wepon on ff8 or its some weaopon or some guy i dont remomber but those will be a challenge forsure on ff7 because they do sooo much damage an have a million hitpoints so theres ur challenge an u beter be like lvl 80-90 for em an have good materia

I know this.
But, remember those old nes/snes RPG games...
Before almost every boss you needed to boost/level-up your characters or you weren't strong enough

Looks like they thought those old games were too hard...
