Whatever one was underwater... i didnt understand how to beat him.

Cheating doesn't count. But yeah, he's still easy. You can use Holy War to make your party invincible. Even without cheap tricks like The End and Holy War, it's easy, but you need a few preparations (like most of the weapons). For Light Pillar, revive your guy. For Megido Flame, just have 9999 HP and it will put everyone at 1 HP (perfect for Limit Breaks). Gravija does 0 damage when you have 1 HP, so you can continue with Limit Breaks. Defend when he uses Terra Break. Just keep up with his pattern of attack.

I'd even go as far to say that Ultima Weapon is harder because he has no fixed pattern of attack and mainly uses Light Pillar (which always kills a party member, no matter what). He is also faster than Omega, so if you get unlucky and he uses Light Pillar 3 times in a row quickly, you lose. His low HP means you can kill him in 1 attack though. >_<



That's Emerald. The main thing you need to know about him is that Aire Tam Storm does 1111 damage per Materia, so just cut your materia down. You can also morph an enemy in the underwater reactor (I forget which enemy) for a guidebook that you give to the kalm traveller (if I remember correctly), but it is not necessary if you beat him in under 20 (maybe 30) minutes. I found Omega harder though, but he still wasn't that much of a challenge.

Omega from FFV was the hardest boss for me in my ff career.

Emerald Weapon FF7 hands down.

Yeah, he was pretty annoying. He only had like 60k HP or so, but some of his attacks were deadly so you needed a bit of luck to beat him. I seem to remember some type of Ray attack that kept owning me and then I got lucky when he used some of his weaker attacks and I managed to kill him. I think I lamed him with 4 Time Mages, something like that.

Just equip 2x Coral Swords on each person, with the Sorcerer's Magic Sword ability, Bolt 3 Sword, then attack.. shreds the boss in no time at all, or if you're kinda built up you equip 2 of those Lances i forget the name, you get them from the castle basement where the statue enemies are (GREAT training ground).. Twin Lance I think.. each one hits twice so you get 4 hits per attack, then put berserk on to buff your damage considerably, and maybe have one person non berserked to buff / heal

without cheating or usinng 7777 or anything like that just playing no book... i'd say ozma was the hardest superboss... i know its not a weapon but it falls into the same basic category

i remember trema from ffx-2 should be the hardest boss fin ffx-2 and kinda of a ultimate boss in the ff series ^^ i could solo him with yuna in mascot form in lvl 80 >.>
