All you do is push X or some other button in every other final fantasy with the exception of like X-2 and FFVI...

Why are you angry that you have to keep doing that?

The level up system is actually pretty ingenious. You do level up by experience, you just don't know how much you have and when you do reach that point, the likelihood of rolling a 777 increases.

Keeping the same combat system as FF7 would have been pretty lame IMO. After 15 years of solid rpg gaming experience I can say I'm growing out of the Turn Based thing. I really rather liked the game.

Fun game.

I didnt like the combat system that much either, but all the quests and storyline made it a challenge. With alot of swearing at the stat death kills and stuns. Still was worth the money invested imho.

crisis core was awsome ive played almost all the final fantasy games and i though it had a great story and maby a little easy i owned the game beat everything max stats in like the 20 first week had 2 go back 4 phenix

well, i got the game and i though it got a nice graphic and story. not bad game! and the invocation, so cool

I love the combat style in crisis core (basically same as the one in ff12). At least you can dodge enemy attacks. FF1-9 (can't remember X and X-2 precisely but I think it was turned based as well) if an enemy attacked you got hit most of the time. I think the fighting style in crisis core is more realistic.
