FF3 for DS is a remake.
I would suggest getting the Nes version or Snes version (The Snes version depending if you're US or not, they are named differently in US and EU)
Check out zophar.net, they have alot of emus.

Anyway, the DS emus are still in development and may lag a bit.
Nesticle is good for nes.
Snes9x for Snes.
