It's a broken system, but what i'm saying is that most of the FF games (the ones 7+) have broken systems.

im playin this too. i dont understand how you are seing level 44 in disc 1. I'm almost to disk 3, and i'm level 32. I'm flying through the battles like nothin.

im not trying to speed thru the game, avoid battles, flee from battles, etc.

I like a ff game that if i explore a certain area thoroughly but not excessively, i'd be at the level i should be by the last disc or section of the game.


About the broken systems, there's a point in Chrono Trigger, one of my favorite games of all time, where you have access to the Prehistoric age but your not supposed to go there. You can get advanced weapons and 10 levels higher than you should be by killing the apes.

i see i see. well it's your decision weather to be godly or have a challenge. myself i like flying through ff's because i've beaten them all previously, and i really just want to relive the storyline
