so.. basicly it has destroyed my life.. but can't complain.. awsome game.

ya. and for the new wings of the goddes tihng. is it right that if you buy that expansion then you gotta buy the original game too? if it is then its fucking lame lol. then when you have bought those 2 cds you gotta pay for each month? and for each char?

Its like any other expansion, you gotta have the original which in the UK goes for £5 or if you look hard enough you get all FFXI games for £20 minus WoTG which i got for £10. then its £9 a month and an extra 50p for more tha non char. same as WoW i think...

I started this game about a month ago. It's pretty good, if you enjoy the MMO-style. As for the paying to play, they're always releasing updates/patches and such. Continuing to create new items, quests, etc., so the game really never ends.

By the way, I play on the Odin server under 'Elysium'.

What's the usual cost per month for FFXI?

Uk £8 month and 70p per extras char
US is ABOUT $13 month with each extra char around $1

its well worth it, but CAN get quite addictive and time flies by too.
