They are all good. But FFX-2 is best atm. because you can actually do what you want in it. Just like 11. I find it very challenging to visit the last places in first few minutes.

i chose ff8 cuz of card game and more things to do was fun but ff7 is overall best ever

Seems like i was the only one that chose fft =/
I've played ALL those games (except 11) and i love them all. 6,7,8 really rocks. I chose fft cause it was the game i played most times, not bcause of its storyline which is not bad, hmm, dunno, can't really explain why, i just love it =)
