How long does it take to beat him?

GIve or take 4-6 hours. If you got the Yagyu Darkblade max 4hrs. I hope you thought of having windbreakers and at least 1 shell shield.
Don't forget you can always leave and save your game. Just remember to dispel him when you come back or he will Regen.
Regen his full 50 million hp..............ouch!!!

i had lvl 90 party and i didnt have u use my coop party that i had in lvl 50 there. i did it in 3 hours i had zodiac spear tournesol. and then masamune but when max dmg was down at 6999 i used durandal with zodiac shield having some nice block rate and still full dmg

I had lvls 99, 95, 92 using zodiac spear, tournesol, masamune. It took 2 1/2 - 3 hours roughly. Just have your gambits set up all nicely and go at him. Just be careful when he gets to < 10% health, as he starts hitting very hard and you can get unlucky with deathstrikes and such. At 5% I found myself having to leave the area, buff everyone up, go back in and beat on him for maybe 1/2 - 3/4 of a bar of health, then run back out and repeat. If you try to keep healing and rezzing at that point you really won't be doing much damage, so a hit and run style is better imo.

ya but the guys who say they did it in one sitting without having to leave the area have something to truly brag about imo.

It's an enemy with 50million HP in FFXII.

Took him down in 1 half hour, my secret advice is use gambits they are a gr8 help even though its AI, also in options put all speeds on lowest.

1 hour........moron I had 2 Yagyu and I wasn't even at 40 million yet......Your secret is Gambits. DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! anyone who has brains can understand gambits and set them up right. Yiazmat from 10 million to 0, takes around 1 hour alone. 1 hour on killing Yiazmat? You smoking some good stuff. Best I found on You Tube was 2 hours.
I suppose you took down Zodiark in less then 1 minute.????
