why didn't you put Wild Arms or Xenosaga up there? They're both good games.....What they aren't good enough for you?

and what about Megaman. It had pretty much the same impact as Sonic and Mario too...It was just sorta less popular.

First off...wild arms and xenosaga are small fish, They didint start anything new or do anything important in gaming. Simply taking elements from FF and Star Ocean does NOT count. And megaman...it really didint make a huge impact either (Thats why the franchise is dead today) It gets tiring. Mario and Sonic are more solid and have a higher replay value.

yeah that is pretty sad....ive heard of almost all of them and played atleast 3/4 of them...so so sad =(

also, i thought of Kingdom Hearts and God of War. Those should definitely be up there

Kingdom Hearts and God of War didint change the way games are made..thats what this thread is about. Sure they are both good, but not original enough to spawn a new genre.
