I just started playing and im not liking it to much but its ight i do think 8 was way better but my mobile phone wont let me get past disc 3.. ragnarok etc

Its below 10,7, & 8 in my opinion.
9 is weird but its not that bad.

It's very different to 8. Personally, I like 9 more because of the gameplay mechanics, which are much closer to the first 6 FFs.

8 has a better story imo and a deeper main character... although 9 does provide a greater character development for the overall cast and not just the main character (FFVIII is mainly Squall and Rinoa, while the rest just feel like extras).

in my opinion.... the final fantasy trilogy for PS1.... 7, 8, and 9......
I think 9 really makes me feel like I am in a "Fantasy World" the most..... thats why I like it over the others.... which is VERY HARD thing to accomplish because the other 2 are AMAZING as well..........

9 doesn't start getting good until halfway through disc two. The beginning of the game is almost a chore to get through. That being said it's probably my favorite ff game.

9 > 7 > 8

IX > X > VII

And I fount IX good right off the bat, I liked the characters..

Try to make a level 1 file

It's the worst one out of the ones that are enjoyable to play.

Only people who like no challenge at all would enjoy 9. Took me less than 30 hours on a first run-through and I was like lvl 55 when I beat the last boss. It was so easy that I didn't even realize he was the last boss.

I liked 9, better than 8 imo.

Matter of taste i guess, but it was a good classic FF.

7>9>10>10-2>8>6>12>13-2>13

Didnt play 13-3 yet(lightning returns) since 13 and 13-2 were such a gigantic failure....
