I was thinking with the launch of FFXIV in august now announced
it may be a good idea to get a main forum board
with a sub trading forum like they have for other games,
Seems like there is alot of interest for the game, and it would probably pull in a new crowd to the site as well which is always good.

anyone know who i could talk to about this?

This forum for the FF franchise is dead, I can't even imagine how dead a forum for just one of the games would be...

On the other hand it wouldn't be cool to have this forum full of trade threads that would get constantly bumped, pushing down all the discussion/music/poll/playthrough/etc threads.

there would be a different sub only for trading

Would make sense to move everything XIV-related to its own sub-forum. I'm sure a handful of us will quit posting if we need to scroll through 5 pages of FT: Item/Iso: Gil/FG threads just to find a healthy discussion.

yea, i for one plan to be an active trader and dont want to have to sift through all the trades for a discussion topic,
not to mention alot of old posts like the FF remix will be a pain to find.
