Where I live it was never released, opinions? Is it a good game!?

I enjoyed FF:TA so the battle system shouldn't bother me too much.

I've only read postive reviews for that game in this sf. I want to try it out someday, if only I had more time on my hands...

I had surgery last week, so I have LOTS of spare time right now, so i'm doing a lot of final fantasy'ing.

Yeah i've read around and seen mainly good things.

It's by far the best FF game ever made. The story is amazing, it's the most realistic, the characters are the most realistic and relate-able. The plot is twisted and complex, there are so many undermeanings to why everything is happening the way it is. All the characters change pretty dramatically by the games end(It's played over like a 10 year period or something, maybe more) It is THE best story in a FF game.

Truly a remarkable piece of work. I was sort of spoiled and beat it on a Playstation emulator, fast forwarding through some of the more mindless battles and being at work where I can't devote as much attention to the plot as I had wanted to, but even then this game felt beautiful to me. As Lublar said, the character progression throughout the course of the game is beyond any other RPG I've laid my hands on, the battle system makes you actually have to use your head, yada yada. Just check it out.

i didnt like tactics. it didnt feel like a final fantasy game.

Just gotta comment that you don't know what a FF game is, then. Games like VII, VIII, and XIII are the least like a FF game. Tactics is one of the truest FF games, through and through.

Final Fantasy :: Tactics , Is well worth the money and time to play, It's a great game.

Like everyone says, the story and game-play are great. Just keep in mind it's a turn based strategy game, which is why some people don't like it. It doesn't follow the old 3-4 character turn based (non-strategy) RPG style.

heres some advice son.... your going to rage... and your going to rage hard at certian parts in the game because its not easy unless you get tg cid
