I have never finished FF6. I've started many MANY times and only get about 6-8 hours in then something else gets my attention and I never get back to playing again. I think I made it the furthest on the PS1 version....FF Anthology discs (was FF5 and FF6 here in the US I think some countries had different games for Anthology O_O).

Its not like I dont like the old style of the FF games (I admit to starting with FF7 when I was 14) because I've gone back to beat FF4 twice and I beat the ORIGINAL FF3 for the NES emulator when it was fan translated back YEARS ago on an Intel Pentium 266 Mhz Gateway computer lol.

I always hear a lot of praise for FF6 and Im going to make it my goal to one day beat it....soon hopefully lol.

Dont really have a point to this topic....I dont know if I want you guys to convince me to pick it up by telling me how good it is or not haha.

Any FF games you guys wish you'd played/beaten but didnt?

I started this game for the very first time earlier this year and wasn't able to put it down. Had all my characters in the 90s with their ultimate set-ups and shit. From what I've gathered and the games you've beaten, you shouldn't be posting about whether you should re-play VIII or IX, you should make it your mission to beat the hell out of VI

HAHA yea I was thinking this too.

I started it up again on my SNES emulator so hopefully I'll get it done this time.

Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttttttttt?

Beat it, right now :O

EDIT: On FFIX my disc 4 was bugging at the end of memoria so I picked up my bro's save right before Kuja.. I guess I skipped the end of memoria but that's pretty much it.
EDIT2: Also I wish I played FFXII more, but for a reason it bored me after 10 hours or so into it :S...

I think you missed an awesome scene of Kuja going trance and totally destroying shit but I cant remember exactly.

I loved FF12. I beat it and did most of the side missions but stopped when I picked up wow lol.

I'll start back on my FF6 file tomorrow sometime. Gonna try to beat it before Christmas.

You'll have no problem beating it before the 25th. I think I poured about 70 hours into it and didn't miss a thing. The only obstacle that would get in your way is maxing out every single available character, and who wants to do that?

:o

I loved FFVI, it has one of my favourite character casts in the FF universe. It get's a bit too easy as you progress though... you should give it another try, hopefully you'll make it to the end this time.

I personally dropped I and II, but I'm planing on tackling them some time soon... I'll probably do all 3 NES ones this summer (haven't played III)

I also dropped FF XII, around the time you get to the sewers not far from the begining. I didn't like it, I wanted a classic RPG but Squenix just changed it all too much :(

Yea I dont remember anyone saying anything bad about FF6. Its always a recommended play.

FF1 is pretty basic but fun. I've played both the emulated NES version and the GBA version. I didnt care for FF2 though. If you like the job system (like FF5) then you'll like FF3.

I know what you mean with FF12. I played the demo and HATED the demo but I went against my instincts and bought it when it came out and once I got into the game pretty good (about 15-20 hours in) it gets a lot better. The battle system took a lot of shit from people but it was as interactive as YOU wanted it to be. You could set it up to just auto battle but I was a bit more active with mine.
