Also, on a completely unrelated note, I think my homie and I have decided to shut our emulators off for a little while and purchase Skyrim

Have you played other TES? If so, you'll be blown away by Skyrim.

IMO it's one of the only recent release that lives up to it's hype.

I played quite a bit of Oblivion, a little Fallout here and there. Didn't dislike them, but they weren't extremely dear to my heart either. I've just been reading what everyone has to say about Skyrim surpassing all of these games and I think I'm sold. Will be a good change to play something that's not a JRPG.

Im honestly a bigger JRPG fan than a WRPG fan but Skyrim is just flat out amazing. I love it. I've played very little of Oblivion but what I played I liked and Skyrim just blows Oblivion out of the water lol. But as Darkshade said it lives up to the hype and you wont be disappointed.

Which brings me to another RPG that Im getting myself really hyped about....Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning. That one looks to be amazing but its not getting much hype.

A few hours after I said I was going to buy Skyrim, my homie got a hold of Chrono Cross for the first time and I decided I'd play it alongside him (granted we'll beat the game with a completely different slew of characters/storyline).
Definitely going to purchase the game at some point though, probably when I don't have to worry about purchasing a vehicle/Christmas presents for family. All the gameplay trailers I've seen just look wicked.

The only thing that makes that game epic is the shear amount of possible characters.

Hardly the only thing. To each their own though I suppose.

This. I loved all aspects of Chrono Cross.

Have to ask... What is a JRPG and WRPG? I thought RPGs were RPGs.
