Hey.

This tread will be about high achivements you have done and is under progress and what you would like to do in the future.
By achivements i mean for example: Low level runs, challenges, and other things you are proud of achiving in the FF games.

For my achivements:
FF VII: Barret Missing Score glitch (killing Emerald Weapon in one shot)
FF XIII: Platinum
FF VII: Killed Midgard Zolom with all under level 15.

In progress:
FF XII: Dustia chain leveling to 99 (Currently at level 72)
FF XII: 122333 Low level challenge (Currently in Archades)
FF VII: Vincent Death Penalty Glitch (Just started this so only got around 3k kills)

Planned:
FF IX: Perfect Game
FF VII: Level 99 before Guard Scorpion

I have done alot of other glitches etc in the games, but i dont feel like they are worth listing.
I havent seen a simular tread around, and i would like to hear you FF freaks out.

How can you call glitches "achievements"?..

And no, I haven't done any. I play the game, have fun, finish it and SOMETIMES go back to do some side-quests and stuff like that,

I don't care about perfect games or w/e.

I've done a perfect file for FFs 5-10 and I plan to also do this for the first 4 (but not in a short term, maybe I'll tackle one or two of them this summer). Haven't done or plan to do any challenges like the no spheregrid for FFX or the no materia for FF VII; playing the game like that doesn't interest me.

These glitches, and specially the Death Penalty one, is very time consuming and you need a lot of patience. For everyone who pulled this off, they should definitivly be proud of that.

I understand and respect both your viewpoints, and i think most people that play these games would agree with you.

For me, i love these kinda things and lets me see the games from a whole other aspect Like for example with the FFXII:122333LLC , i sometimes have to find very complicated tactics to beat bosses that you would consider pretty easy in a normal run, and for me thats very satisfying when i pull it off.

And for the perfecters game, i always wanted to get that Excalibur II on IX. Just resently got a console i could play the original CDs on so that lets me skip FMVs, and that makes things alot more easy and spare me some time there.

Thanks for reply and have a nice day.

I have my perfect game, of FF tactics, in progress.
I don't really know if I'd call it an achievement, but I like to come up with the best possible defensive equipment in all the FF games I play.
Loved FF6 b/c of all the different gear to equip.
Force Armor / Force Shield I think was 100% magic evade, stuff like that.

/edit
Love the Kefka avatar.

I agree for the most part. I think completing the story is good enough.

The only thing I'd consider for this thread though, is I did beat FFVIII with only Squall, but it really wasn't much of an accomplishment because it was super easy with just 1 character. The junction system makes the game a lot easier when you have everything on one character.

Hahaha, yeah. I remember my 2nd game on FFVIII I only played cards and buffed up my Squall. Was too easy, but still entertaining.

Oh snap, I forgot that I never got Excalibur II, so I haven't done a perfect run for FFIX, but I just was never interested in rushing the game. I got everything else, but I never wanted to try doing it in under 12 hours... I just really enjoy wasting time in these games

come to think of it, idk if it's even possible to get Excalibur II without missing some equipment, key items or cards

And I never managed to do 999 jump ropes either... so I guess I did a 99.99% run for FFIX.

V, VI, VII, VIII and X I'm pretty sure they are all 100% though :D
