I had over 100 hours logged into XIII, it wasn't the most fun FF game ever but it was pretty good especially if you got to gran pulse
I enjoyed fapping to lightning, fang and vanille as I played it, I'll be doing the same for XIII-2

I watched the trailer for XIII-2 and surprisingly got excited for whatever reason. Then again, I was excited for XIII until I got home and put the disc in my console.

I laughed but felt the same way...

However....if...IF....IF those things are done right (non linear maps, TOWNS!!!, and time travel which Im a huge fan of) this could actually be a pretty cool game.

I'd say the trailer made it very, very obvious that time travel will be a major factor. Half of the scenes consisted of the original XIII characters aged quite a bit. I mean, Hope was a grown man! All the dialogue with Lightning they showed about "One day we'll all be together" yada yada, I'd say time travel's set in stone. That was the main thing I was stoked about, the Chrono series are two of my all-time favorite video games.

Now they just have to come through on the maps and towns and we'll be set lol.

I just can't comprehend why they are making games so far off the winning formula they discovered with the first 10. I can understand 12, it was an experiment. It failed, So why persist?

I hated time travel in Chrono Trigger, Loved it in Cross. Could go either way.

12 didn't fail. I thought it was really good.
