The Spirits Within

I've only seen Spirtis Within, which I didn't like. Always wanted to see Advent Children though, I think I'll watch it one of these days

Yeah, I can sympathize with everyone who expected Spirits Within to have at least some sort of relevance to the video games. I liked it though, I remember begging my mom to take me to see it in theaters. Even own it on Blu-ray. I like Advent Children too though, I have some weird special box edition of that. I'd say I enjoyed Spirits Within more, I just expected something... different in Advent Children.

Legend of the Crystals was pretty kewl too. I've only seen a few episodes but for someone who's VERY picky about anime, it was tolerable.

Advent Children was cool, not needed at all, but ya

That's exactly what annoyed me, I was so excited about a FF movie only to find out it had nothing to do with the videogames.

Legend of the Crystals I had never heard of, I'll at least look into it

I've only watched Advent Children. They did alright with the story it wasnt anything mind blowing but the fight scenes were awesome and seeing the FF7 world in such amazing detail was a treat.

ive seen advent children like 10+ times i think

only ever seen spirits within when they play it on TV, its okay but has nothing on advent children.

I liked Spirits Within more than Advent Children. Advent Children is really just made for FF7 fanboys imo. The action scenes were really enjoyable, but it was just as emo as FF7 so it wasn't great imo lol. The thing I liked about Spirits Within is that it was something fresh and new, they took risks. I always liked that it was originally decided to be done all in English from the start, that was a pretty bold decision from Sakaguchi since obviously all the games and media were always Japanese first.

Anyways, Spirits Within is definitely a better movie for English audiences, it's a real film that anyone can sit down and watch. Advent Children was just made to please FF7 fans, anyone who has no idea what FF is or what FF7 would have no clue what Advent Children was all about.

i put about an hour into the shitfest they call FF7, but ive seen advent children 10+ times cause epic CG action
