what are the best party members to have right now im using basch vaan n fran but i dont want to level up basch instead of balthier if like he leaves later on and then id be stuck with a low lvl balthier ne1 hlp?

It's best to level most/all of your characters up because you never know when you might need a backup character in a boss fight.

For example: I was fighting Gilsnapper pretty early in the game. It was a tough and long fight, and I switched between characters many times in order to stay alive.

You can go ahead and do that....or just spend extra time and make sure you lvl up enough to where all enemies are blue to you in each area, which is what I did.

I've already beaten the game, you don't have to worry about Balthier or Basch leaving except for one part for about an hour that Balthier leaves, which is no big deal.

I used Vann, Fran and Penelo, they were all lvl 54 when I beat the game.

i just did some mad lvling in the grymsthe waterway, where you can get like 100 battle chain. my chars just hit lvl 20 and they all have 3 mist charges.

beat both Demon Walls without switching any chars.

ture i always switch my characters to the next character after they level up except 4 vaan i always leave him out on the field ya

After beating the game and lvling my other chars and using Vaan every minute...their kinda unbalanced !

Fran = 74
Penelo = 74
Balthier = 72
Basch = 76
Ashe = 84
Vaan = 90

Vaan and Ashe are strong enough for the hardest dungeon in the game, but everyone else dies in like 3 hits >_<! Vaan takes 10!!!

I use Ashe/Fran/Vaan. I don't switch because I never did it in other FF games and I really don't want to spend extra points and gil on those chars. I used the other chars Liscense points to find weapons I wanted to use and armor and spells. So I can semi map out my chars paths.

I use all my characters. I got from Vaan, Balthier, Fran. When Vaan hits a lvl I take him out brng in Basch. When Balthier lvl I take him out and bring in Ashe and so on.
