i have beta dowloaded and all that but when i go to run game
i get this pop-up that tells me its stopped working
do i have something on my comp that makes it stop working
i have firewall letting it go through..wat im doin wrong here?

neone? id like to play the beta sometime today maybe?

does it pop up when it stats updating the server? if so just reopen it and it will start up from same spot. happened ot me a few times when i first launched it. but for some reason its staying at 98.3% for me and wont finish updating. anyone know why?

I am having the exact same problem, its stuck at 98.3%.

I looked it up on the beta website, it just says to cancel the installtion then try again.

But it keeps happening.

good i am glad you can't play you bich! Don't be playing other games without me.

mine eventually finished and then it goes to download the version updates. i got through the instlalation and the download part takes like 2 hours. file size is like 15gigs. anyways im now stuck at 99.9% of the download state >.< wtf.

so many people having so many problems with the beta. and the only response they give to people is 'sorry we cant help you'.... hope the game actually works? or they are goin to screw over a bunch of people, and have a lot of angry customers.

The problem with the patcher stopping at 98% or whatever is a known issue with September 5ths maintenance patch. You go into the FFXIV folder in my documents and there are torrents for the patchers there. Just get what you need and put it in the correct folder.

As for the OP problem, chances are you're using an ATI card, am I correct? You need to update drivers.

Downloader is working fine for me now.

But its going really slow.
