Has anyone heard much about this new system where you basically stop gaining xp after about an hour of play unless you change classes? It was just introduced in the Beta. Hope they remove this because I will not be playing if this is in the game at release -_-

Sounds new and different, I'd be interested in it.

Yea that is what I heard. It seems like you start losing full xp gains very quick and after an our or a couple hours reach 0% if you haven't been changing class. Kind of hoping they remove this or it isn't true, don't know if I will still be playing if this remains in the game :(

just makes you play different classes instead of just grinding away at one

You do realize you are limited to about eight hours of play per class every week before your xp reaches zero right? Sorry but I spend more than eight hours a week running, it's stupid that a game which has a monthly fee is going to put this kind of restriction on game play. If they want to make the game accessible to the soccer moms that only log in once in a while, that's fine. But hardcore players should not be penalized for playing more.

Interesting..
Can your main character change classes? Like in FF13 Paragdrim Shifts, and in other FFs, etc.

If not that sucks =/ I like to work on one char and not have to switch to multiple chars.
Only classes I'm interested in is the Puglist and the Conjurer.

You have to change the classes to have the ability to continue to gain xp. So essentially you will have to switch classes every couple of hours to avoid being awarded 0 xp. It's rather extreme if they keep it the way it is set up right now. People playing even more than a couple of hours a day would e highly penalized.

What you are saying is rather interesting, but since it seems you play the beta, could you explain how the fatigue system works considering you gain xp both for your character level and for your class(weapon) level as well? Which one is affected and which one isnt?
