What is the best ff for pc? Are there any good ones that can be ran on 2ghz cpu/ ati 9700 pro 128mb video card

I have a game controller, I can hook up if u can't use mouse and keys

Its been years and years since i played a ff game

probably could run ff7...could definatly run an emulator with the originals...ff7 is the only one i played on the ps1 so not sure about the others but it was reasonably good.

what does the emulator do? allow u to play ps1 or ps2 games on pc?

FF7, and FF8 are the only ones released on PC besides FFXI.

I recommend FF8, it's the best in the series(besides Tactics). 7 on the other hand is one of the worst in the series, bottom half for sure.

Of course I was serious... If he's looking to buy a FF for the PC, 8 is the best option(unless he's looking for an MMO).

In terms of storyline, character development, and story pacing/progression, 8 outclasses 7 in every way by a wide margin. Also, it's more challenging, the materia system is one of the easiest systems in any FF game.
