best final fantasy plot in my opinion was 10. hands down
and the 2nd one is 8

Tactics has the best plot. FFVIII is second. But Tactics by far has the most complete story and cast of characters.

tactics, and then either 9 or 10, i dont know why everyone likes 7 so much it wasnt that great of a game

10 was just annoying. Tidus/Yuna made me want to slit my wrists.
Only cool chars were Lulu/Auron. Even the boss was homo.

Nothing. Tidus/Wakka are annoying as hell, and the lamest characters i've ever seen.. apart from "Seymour", that is.
Battle system was good, though.

Agreed.

I also agree with X having crappy characters as well. The plot was interesting and original, but the cast of characters was probably my least favorite of any FF game(besides 12). Would rank higher if the characters were better.
