I received a few PMs from people asking about the game and whatnot so I think I'll just make a thread instead of sending multiple PMs out.



Opening sequence: Amazing graphics even for my SDTV. I already dislike the black character though simply because he's such a stereotype with his appearance. The landscape is phenomenal. Music is really good even though Nobuo didn't work on this (I think). More to come as I get there.

Okay. The beginning was pretty neat but I'm really not liking the way they set up the story in the beginning.

Save points are frequent as hell.

Combat is... curious. It's kinda lame at first but I can tell there's room for it to be pretty epic later on if they did it right.

Controls (on 360) kinda blow. I will be testing ps3 tomorrow.

Lightning will randomly start walking when you're moving somewhere unless you're moving in a serpentine pattern (zig-zag). It is the most annoying thing I've ever seen in a final fantasy game that I have to run all wiggly because my main character doesn't want to run (nothing in settings to change this either).

Mmk, gonna head to bed. Solid game. Very unlike any Final Fantasy though. I think I may buy it, still up in the air though.

The game is awesome, ive been playing it for 3 days now. The sotry line is quite confusing, at first. And i love the new battle system, takes a while to get adjusted but when you learn it omg

my thoughts exactly. I was like "This has to be some mistake, maybe I'm not pressing the direction well enough" but if you keep her going in one specific direction without wiggling the stick she starts walking.

Perhaps you're just using a faulty controller?
