Just got an xbox360, i dont play online, wondering what the best rpg is for someone whos a final fantasy fan

Try Lost Odyssey (Square), Magna Carta, Valkyrie Chronicles, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Off the arcade, 1 of the best RPG's ever made)

Valkyria Chronicles is PS3 exclusive. Not sure if Castlevania SotN is on Xbox....I dont think it is. Its more of a side scroller than an RPG (not saying it wasnt one of the best games ever lol)

Get Dragon Age: Origins. Im a long time FF fan (been playing since the early 90's) and Im only like 5 hours into Dragon Age and its simply amazing. I love it.

Im pretty impressed with it. I've never been a fan of WRPG's but I dont think I really gave them a chance. Im glad I gave this one a real chance I think it'll be great from start to finish.

If you have a GC, you should try geting Tales of Symphonia, it's arguably even better.
