I'd have to say Final Fantasy VII caught my eye the most, it was the beginning of a new and improved series of Final Fantasy and I loved every minute of gameplay I put into it.

Basicly FFVII is ruined in my eyes , they fucked it up with 100 sequels/prequels.

I've only played 3, 7-XII, so I can't really compare them to the others, but by far X was the best experience. Although the English version had some awkward moments, the storyline and the world SE made was unique and extremely well thought out. Perhaps this is just because I played it at an impressionable stage, but I can still pick it up, 8 years later and have a blast with it.

even though ffvii is my fav game, X story was way better imo...
Ffvii and ffx are the 2 best by far...played em both more than any other game out there (not including mmorpgs or fps...)
