ok well last night i spent over two hours playing ff8 trying to kill the last boss, my chars are in the low80's, i have all GF's, not all weopons i have my limet break locked because i havent killed omega weapon and i dont think i could without my final wepons.
i used Squall, Zell and Rinoa.
anyways i killed the first state where you fight her alone.
then i killed her gf.
then she and her gf combine together as one, i killed this too
then she falls apart and so theres only alittle part of it i killed this too
then she transforms into sum weird looking thing and this is where my game stuffed up, all the colours went wacky so i was very hard to see my magic spells and that gf were.
then i was fighting her for ages she had killed all my gfs so i was using triple and ultima and would get another spell in her and now when i wasnt healing from her stupid spell that knocks you down to 1hp.
I think my game glitched here, well it already had with the colours but it didnt concern my unlike when gigamesh came out and would attack her.
i ended up dying because of her stupid spell that throws away your magic and i couldnt revive my team mates so i was left with rinoa and her dog that came in and gave me a x potion or phoenix down and sumtimes used his rush attack.

so im asking a good method on how to kill her or how you killed her and if anything that i mentioned above happen to you?
e.g gigamesh (they guy that took odins place) coming out, the method doesnt need to be so i can kill her because i started ff8 again and im going to be more prepared next i try to kill her.

Well its been a while since the last time i have played.
When i played i used squall zell and rhinoa also.
My chars were lvl 99
and had conquored ultima weapon also.

My advice is, get better weapons and trains atleast till your low 90's
For examples Heaven and hell islands located to the far east and far right of the continent.
train there for about 3-4 hours you should get some nice lvls (All monsters lvl 100).

ya hells island is the best i got almost all my characters to 99 , just use questes , umm what it called that reaper attack thats a 1 hit kill when shes almost dead or , fight then run and hope odin pops out and kills em or somtin best way 2 lvl up there u get so much experience points

mm, Go read an faq for soem useful hints, i beat it with like lvl 60-70 chars, i hated lvling - not hard at all really

All you need is squall zell rinoa. Think its bahamats card turn it into 100 mega elixers. Have squalls limit break, Lion heart and Rinoa's limit break, Wishing star. Been awhile since I've played this game, but have Zell have items instead of magic or gf and have him use mega elixers, right after ultimecias attack. Have Rinoa with magic casting aura. If you have holy war cast that one you have aura casted on squall and Rinoa. (4-5 lion hearts will kill her in end form)

oh ty guys but to get squall's last wep u need pulse ammo, im having trouble finding this.
where did u guys manage to find it?

know when your going to fight the ultimate weapon after bahamut, theres a flying monster called elnoyle or something like that, that drops pulse ammo you can also get it by like using the card mod or w/e like 8 or 10 elnoyel cards
